Epsilon Iota
About the Chapter
Epsilon Iota Chapter
The Epsilon Iota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order at Texas State University was founded in 1979. Since its establishment, the chapter has been dedicated to developing men of character through leadership, scholarship, service, and lifelong brotherhood while upholding the values and traditions of Kappa Alpha Order. Today, the Epsilon Iota Chapter has grown into a respected organization on the Texas State campus.
Like many long-standing organizations, the Epsilon Iota Chapter has experienced periods of growth, challenge, and renewal. Through the commitment of both undergraduate members and alumni, the chapter has continued to build upon its legacy while adapting to the evolving needs of Texas State University and its students.
Today, the Epsilon Iota Chapter proudly carries forward the traditions established by those who came before us. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on preparing future generations of leaders, strengthening lifelong friendships, serving our community, and honoring the values that have guided Kappa Alpha Order.

Relationships That Last a Lifetime
Brotherhood at Texas State Kappa Alpha Order is built through shared experiences, mutual accountability, and a commitment to helping one another grow. Our members form lasting relationships through chapter events, service, academics, campus involvement, leadership opportunities, and time spent together in San Marcos.
Older members and alumni serve as mentors, helping younger members become stronger leaders and more responsible men. From philanthropy projects and intramural sports to alumni events, retreats, and everyday chapter life, our brotherhood is strengthened through active participation and shared responsibility. The relationships formed within our chapter extend far beyond graduation through alumni connections, professional networking, and lifelong friendships.
